Surgical Simulation

  • Bone plates, screws, implants, bone

  • grafts and distractors, the most

  • deciding on good location

  • Being able to see the results of different surgical approaches

  • Short surgery times and successful surgeries

  • Verifying a custom-designed implant

  • Determining the best angles and planes for osteotomy

  • Detection of tumor resections and

  • removal from bone

Surgical Simulation Advantages

3D Surgery Planning

We perform osteotomy, which is a surgical procedure performed to cut the bone smoothly, and surgical simulation of the implant to be used. With the simulation, which includes applications such as cutting, separating, combining, mirroring, and determining the nerves, pre-operative planning and a kind of practice of the operation is carried out. In addition, by printing medical models obtained from the 3D data obtained, we deliver 3D medical models to surgeons so that they can physically perform these procedures.

Thanks to cephalometric analyzes and measurements, all steps of the surgery are calculated with a precision of one tenth of a millimeter. The relationships of muscles, nerves and vessels, bone density, tissue thickness, weak and strong areas of the bone are calculated using special software, and the incisions and screwing locations are studied in a virtual environment beforehand. In order for this virtual and accurate study to be applied during the real surgical operation, bone incision guides are designed and sterilized and used.

Particularly in cases of trauma due to firearms, explosives and traffic accidents, decisions can be made to bring the facial bones to their correct positions, determine the defect areas and complete the missing areas with bone grafts or implants. This decision not only increases the success of the surgery, but also shortens the duration of surgery and provides significant reductions in the duration of anesthesia for patients.
